We are thrilled to share that Dr. Byron de la Navarre has been invited to teach a masterclass on Herpetology at the International Conference on Avian heRpetological and Exotic mammal medicine (ICARE) in Paris this April.
Dr. Byron's masterclass, which will be held on Saturday, April 18, from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm (Paris time), will cover current advances in reptile and amphibian medicine with a clinical, diagnostic and therapeutic techniques lab. Dr. Byron is also Chairman of the Pharmacology - Clinical Pathology Scientific Sessions on Herpetology.
Dr. Byron is Chief of Staff here at Animal House of Chicago. He has more than 20 years of experience working with exotic animals, having externed at 12+ zoos. He has lectured on exotic pet topics at the local, state and national levels. Dr. Byron is also a member and on the Executive Board of the Association of Reptilian and Amphibian Veterinarians (ARAV).
What Is ICARE?
ICARE is the second conference organized under the umbrella of the four associations of exotic veterinary medicine: ECZM AEMV, EAAV and ARAV. The conference's goal is to advance the passion for and improve the welfare of exotic animals through high-level masterclasses and workshops taught by experts in the field from across the globe.
