We're excited to share that Dr. Byron de la Navarre will be teaching a wet lab at ExoticsCon on August 30, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas.
ExoticsCon is a conference hosted by the Association of Avian Veterinarians (AAV), the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians (AEMV) and the Association of Reptilian and Amphibian Veterinarians (ARAV).
During Current Advances in Reptile Amphibian Clinical/Diagnostic & Therapeutic Techniques Lab, Dr. Byron will teach techniques for handling, restraint, physical examinations, sexing, obtaining common laboratory samples and much more in reptile patients.
Dr. Byron has more than 20 years of experience working with reptiles and exotic animals, having externed at 12+ zoos and working with avian and exotic pets since opening Animal House of Chicago in 2003. He has lectured on exotic pet topics at the local, state and national levels. Dr. Byron is also a member of the AAV, the ARAV, and is on the Executive Board of the ARAV.
