Dr. Reese Douglas grew up in Portland, Oregon and currently resides in Chicago, IL. She received an undergraduate degree from Oregon State University and earned a DVM degree from the Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine at Oregon State University. Prior to joining the Animal House of Chicago team, Dr. Douglas practiced at IndyVet Emergency & Specialty Hospital. Her special interests include exotics, zoology, and aquatics.
In her spare time, Dr. Douglas enjoys knitting and crocheting, and trying new foods. She also shares her home with one dog, Gizmo, two cats, Oberon & Sir Robin Goodfellow, aka Puck, one crested gecko, Percephany, one African Pygmy hedgehog, Narcissa, and one corn snake, Aphrodite.
